Poverty Rate in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province, November 2016

Abstract

Number of poor (people living below the poverty line) in Bangka Belitung Province in September 2016 period amounted to 71.07 thousand (5.04%). Compared with the poor in March 2016 amounted to 72.76 thousand (5.22%), means that the number of poor fell as much as 1.69 thousand or percentage dropped by 0.18 percentage points compared to March 2016 period.
During the period March 2016 - September 2016, the number of poor people in rural areas fell as much as 1.43 thousand people, while in urban areas decreased by 0.26 thousand people.
During March 2016 - September 2016 poverty line rose by 5.65 percent from Rp. 534 229, - per capita per month in March 2016 to Rp. 564 391, - per capita per month in September 2016.
