Abstract

The export value of Bangka Belitung Islands in September 2016 reached US $ 166.74 million, rising sharply to 79.87 per cent compared to the export value in August 2016 which only reached US $ 92.70 million.
Tin is the largest export which contribute 85.28 per cent of the total exports of the Province of Bangka Belitung. The main objective of tin exports from January to September 2016 was Singapore, which reached US $ 351.85 million or 53.44 percent of the total exports of tin, followed by the Netherlands US $ 70.86 million (10.76 per cent), India US $ 58.65 million (8, 91 percent), Taiwan US $ 48.47 million (7.36 percent) and Japan amounted to US $ 39.21 million (5.96 percent).
The main commodity largest contributor to exports nontimah Bangka Belitung Islands in January - September 2016 based on the code of the Harmonized System (HS) 2 digits is a group of oils or fats of animal and vegetable which is US $ 71.30 million contribute 62.73 percent to the total export nontimah, followed by groups of coffee, tea and spices US $ 28.87 million (25.40 percent); rubber and rubber goods from US $ 4.20 million (3.70 percent); fish and shrimp US $ 4.12 million (3.62 percent); and various chemical products US $ 3.14 million (2.76 percent).
