Abstract

  • The export value of Bangka Belitung province in August 2016 amounted to US $ 92.70 million, increased dramatically to 80.16 percent over the export value in July 2016 which only reached US $ 51.45 million.
  • Tin is the largest export which contribute 83.59 per cent of the total exports of the Province of Bangka Belitung. The main objective of tin exports from January to August 2016 was Singapore, which reached US $ 277.43 million or 54.83 percent of the total exports of tin, followed by India of US $ 48.38 million (9.56 percent), the Netherlands US $ 47.04 million (9, 30 percent), Taiwan US $ 37.66 million (7.44 percent) and Japan amounted to US $ 26.47 million (5.23 percent).
  • The main contributor to exports nontimah Bangka Belitung Islands in January - August 2016 under the code of the Harmonized System (HS) 2 digits is a group of oils or fats of animal and vegetable which is US $ 62.80 million contribute 63.24 percent to the total export nontimah , followed by groups of coffee, tea and spices US $ 24.08 million (24.24 percent); rubber and rubber goods from US $ 3.95 million (3.98 percent); fish and shrimp $ 3.73 million (3.76 percent). And the last is a group of various chemical products US $ 2.71 million (2.73 percent).
  • Nontimah Exports during the month of August 2016 to China reached US $ 6.31 million, with the largest export commodity is crude palm oil. In the second position is occupied by the Republic of Singapore, which reached a value of US $ 5.93 million, with the largest export commodity of white pepper. Followed by Japan with US $ 0.81 million in commodity white pepper; and Malaysia US $ 0.24 million with commodities fish and shrimp. Meanwhile, in August 2016, no exports to Pakistan, the Netherlands and South Korea.
