Abstract

The number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in August 2016, there were 28 512 people. This number is up significantly at 4.98 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests that as many as 27 159 people (Table 1). The increase in the number of domestic guests guest occur in as many as 1,400 people (5.23 percent). While foreign guests recorded a significant drop as many as 47 people (-11.32 percent).
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands in August 2016 amounted to 39.69 percent (Table 2), a significant increase of 1.07 points compared to the value of TPK amounting to 38.62 percent in July 2016.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in August 2016 in the District of Belitung (51.61 percent), followed by Central Bangka regency (44.28 percent) and the City Pangkalpinang (32.32 percent). While TPK Bangka Regency is only 21.29 percent.
In August 2016, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 1.73 days, decrease when compared to the previous month. During the month of August, the average length of stay (1.99 days) 0.26 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.73 days).
