Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in December 2023 was recorded at 55.01 thousand people, up 57.47 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-December 2022), the flow of departing passengers experienced an increase of 13.17 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in December 2023 was recorded at 43.64 thousand people. This number increased by 23.33 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-December 2022), the flow of arriving passengers decreased by 2.29 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in December 2023 was 373.80 thousand tons, a decrease of 14.97 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 439.62 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during December 2023 was 150.90 thousand tons, an increase of 6.46 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 141.74 thousand tons.
The number of air transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Bangka Belitung in December 2023 was recorded at 83.87 thousand people, an increase of 10.70 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to Kepulauan Bangka Belitung by using air transportation in December 2023 was recorded at 86.00 thousand people, an increase of 9.11 percent compared to the previous month.
