Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in January 2024 was recorded at 39.56 thousand people, down 28.08 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same month last year (January 2023), the flow of departing passengers increased by 43.30 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in January 2024 was recorded at 40.31 thousand people. This number decreased by 7.63 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same month last year (January 2023), the flow of passengers who came experienced an increase of 2.98 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in January 2024 was 360.30 thousand tons, a decrease of 3.61 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 373.80 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during January 2024 was 127.58 thousand tons, a decrease of 15.46 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 150.90 thousand tons.
The number of air transportation passengers departing from Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in January 2024 was recorded at 63.98 thousand people, a decrease of 23.72 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in January 2024 was recorded at 70.00 thousand people, a decrease of 18.61 percent compared to the previous month.
