The number of the workforce in February 2020 reached 777,010 people, an increase of 39,803 compared to the number of the workforce in February 2019, which amounted to 737,207 people. When compared with the period August 2019 it rose by 34,212 people.
The number of people working in February 2020 increased compared to February 2019, which was 38,308 people. In February 2020 there were 750,538 people employed, while in February 2019 there were 712,230 people.
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in February 2020 was 3.41 percent, up 0.02 percentage points compared to TPT in February 2019. And decreased by 0.21 percentage points compared to the conditions in August 2019, which was 3.62 percent.
The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in February 2020 was 69.93 percent, an increase of 2.04 percentage points compared to the TPAK in February 2019 of 67.89 percent.
In February 2020, the highest Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in the Diploma / University education group was 6.98 percent. While the unemployment rate at the high school / vocational level is 5.23 percent and junior high schools is below 1.87 percent.
