Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
  • The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2019 was valued at US $ 118.7 million, up 6.81 percent compared to the export value in December 2018.
  • The value of tin exports rose 14.10 percent, while non-profit fell 16.89 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose by 61.99 percent. Tin exports rose 63.72 percent and non-export exports rose 54.69 percent.
  • During January-December 2019, Singapore absorbed 48.08 percent (US $ 532.8 million) of tin exports, while Malaysia absorbed 18.27 percent (US $ 48.5 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-December 2019 dominates at US $ 133.5 million or 50.36 percent of the total non-export exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
  • The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2019 was US $ 1.79 million, down 82.96 percent compared to December 2018. Thus, imports from January to December 2019 became US $ 16.04 million.
  • A total of 69.70 percent of imports in January-December 2019 were non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports from January to December 2019 were dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 76.40 percent (US $ 8.54 million).
  • In January-December 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 7.63 million (47.57 percent).
