Abstract

n January 2019, Pangkalpinang has inflation on 0.93 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounting to 142.99.
Inflation occurs because of the price increase indicated by the increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: foodstuffs group of 2.35 percent; group processed foods, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco as much as 1.11 percent; housing, water, electricity and materials groups fuel by 0.05 percent; clothing group at 0.41 percent; health group by 0.45 percent; group recreational education, and sports by 0.09 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group is equal to 0.18 percent.
The inflation rate for the calendar year of January 2019 was 0.93 percent and year to year inflation rate (January 2019 against January 2018) of 3.10 percent.
The core component in January 2019 experienced inflation of 0.58 percent. Volatile component inflation of 2.41 percent, while the government regulated inflation component of 0.33 percent.
Combined Two Cities in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands, namely the cities of Pangkalpinang and Tanjungpandan in January 2019 experienced inflation of 1.04 percent with the CPI 143.74.
