In June 2018 Tanjungpandan City experienced Inflation of 1.28 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 141.55.
Inflation
was attributable to price increases as indicated by rising indexes in
five expenditure categories: transport, communication and financial
services by 5.51 percent; foodstuff group by 1.76 percent; clothing
group by 0.49 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.42
percent; and food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.23
percent. While the health group is relatively stable and the education
group recreation, and sports experienced deflation by 0.01 percent.
The
inflation rate for the calendar year of June 2018 was 1.43 percent and
the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2018 to June 2017) was 1.78
percent.
The core component in June 2018 experienced inflation
of 0.40 percent; volatile components experienced inflation of 1.80
percent; and government regulated components experienced inflation of
3.70 percent.
