Abstract

In September 2016, Pangkalpinang experienced an inflation of 0,64% with the consumer price index (CPI) amounted to 130.56 after earlier in August 2016 experienced a higher inflation, which amounted to 0.93% with CPI 129,73.
Inflation occurs because of the increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index of all expenditure groups.
The inflation rate of September 2016 calendar year amounted to 5.49% and the inflation rate year-on-year (September 2016 to September 2015) amounted to 5.82%.
