Abstract

General explanation

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) is an indicator of current economic developments that illustrate consumer perceptions of economic conditions at the household level the quarter and forecasts for the coming quarters.
ITK is generated through the Central Bureau of Statistics Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). Coverage area STK samples held on three (3) Regency / City, namely: Belitung regency, East Belitung Regency and Pangkalpinang. On the implementation of STK-2016 First Quarter target amount of the overall sample of 170 households, with a response rate of 91 percent.

Consumer Economic Conditions First Quarter 2016

ITK value Bangka Belitung in the first quarter 2016 amounted to 94.71, meaning that the first quarter 2016 according to consumer perceptions of economic conditions declined compared to Quarter IV-2015. Declines in the consumer economy is mainly driven by a decrease in volume / frequency of household consumption (94.70) and household income (index value of 93.29) as well as the prominence of inflation to total household consumption (index value of 97.40).

Consumer Economics forecasts Quarter 2016

ITK value Bangka Belitung in the second quarter of 2016 is estimated at 106.98, meaning that economic conditions as perceived by consumers is expected to improve, judging from estimates of future household income and plan the purchase of durable goods, recreational and party / celebration.
