Abstract

General explanation

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) is the latest indicator of economic development generated by the Central Bureau of Statistics Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). CTI is an index measuring the level of consumer perceptions of economic conditions of households in quarter run and the forecast for the coming quarter. Since the second quarter of 2015 the method of calculating STK experienced improvements in minor scale on the questionnaire and methods of computation. Coverage area STK samples, remain to be implemented in Belitung, Pangkalpinang and East Belitung. On the implementation of STK Quarter IV-2015, the number of samples were enumerated as many as 170 households, with a response rate of 96 percent.

Consumer Economic Conditions Quarter IV-2015

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) Bangka-Belitung in the fourth quarter 2015 amounted to 93.91, meaning that in the fourth quarter-2015 according to consumer perceptions of economic conditions declined compared to the third quarter-2015. Declining economic conditions triggered by declining consumer entire constituent variables, such as depreciation household income (index value of 94.66) and the prominence of inflation to total household consumption (index value of 91.89) coupled with the reduced volume / frequency of household consumption (index value 94.71)

Estimates of Consumer Economics First Quarter 2016

ITK value Bangka Belitung in the first quarter 2016 is estimated at 101.19, which means that according to consumer perceptions of economic conditions will get better. This is reflected in the optimism approximate household income is at 104.58 levels (above 100), although most still hold myself to realize the planned purchase of durable goods, recreation and a party / celebration with a value of 95.23 (still under 100) which indicates the expected economic downturn will soon pass
