In March-April 2022 the Head of BPS Bangka Regency expressed his appreciation to all Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry Companies in Bangka Regency who have provided Complete and Timely Manufacturing Industry Data both Monthly and Annually. This data collection activity on the statistical function of large and medium industries aims to produce statistics for medium and large scale manufacturing industries that are complete with comprehensive coverage. In addition, this activity can provide accurate and fast growth of the manufacturing industry. There are two data collection activities in the statistical function of large and medium industries, namely the Annual IBS Survey and the Monthly IBS Survey.

In particular, the Annual IBS survey aims to produce statistics for medium and large scale manufacturing industries. The manufacturing industry statistics include the list of active companies, number of companies, raw materials, production, labor, and other characteristics. Manufacturing industry statistics are presented by region and the Indonesian Standard Classification of Business Fields (KBLI). Meanwhile, the Monthly IBS Survey aims to produce production index numbers and growth rates for medium and large scale manufacturing industries by region and 2-digit KBLI presented in monthly and quarterly periods.
