Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2023 was recorded at 29.61 thousand people, down 10.56 per cent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same month last year (January 2022), the flow of departing passengers increased by 20.73 per cent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2023 was recorded at 41.66 thousand people. This number increased by 6.80 per cent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same month last year (January 2022), the flow of arriving passengers increased by 7.92 per cent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in January 2023 was 905.98 thousand tonnes, an increase of 10.27 percent when compared to the previous month which amounted to 821.59 thousand tonnes.
The volume of goods unloaded during January 2023 was 496.02 thousand tonnes, an increase of 40.90 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 352.02 thousand tonnes.
The number of air transport passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in January 2023 was recorded at 76.27 thousand people, a decrease of 5.80 per cent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in January 2023 was recorded at 83.44 thousand people, a decrease of 0.82 per cent compared to the previous month.
