Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Archipelago Province in October 2022 was recorded at 26.68 thousand people, down 6.84 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-October 2021), the flow of departing passengers has increased by 93.37 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Archipelago Province in October 2022 was recorded at 33.19 thousand people. This number decreased by 8.85 percent compared to the previous month. However, when compared to the same period last year (January-October 2021), the flow of arriving passengers has increased by 95.94 percent.

The volume of goods loaded at ports in October 2022 was 990.38 thousand tons, an increase of 10.15 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 899.12 thousand tons.

The volume of goods unloaded during October 2022 was 269.43 thousand tons, down by 26.69 percent compared to the previous month which only reached 367.51 thousand tons.

The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in October 2022 was recorded at 74.80 thousand people, an increase of 14.33 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in October 2022 was 76.11 thousand people, an increase of 19.53 percent compared to the previous month.
