The number of passengers arriving to the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung using air transport in July 2022 decreased by 41.87 percent compared to August 2022.

Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2022 was recorded at 30.42 thousand people, down 32.25 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-August 2021), the flow of departing passengers has increased by 122.79 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2022 was recorded at 38.67 thousand people. The number decreased 38.01 percent compared to the previous month. However, when compared to the same period last year (January-August 2021), the flow of incoming passengers has increased by 121.79 percent.

The volume of goods loaded at the port in August 2022 was 1,338.75 thousand tons, an increase of 70.83 percent compared to the previous month which only reached 783.70 thousand tons.

The volume of goods unloaded during August 2022 was 336.93 thousand tons, a decrease of 7.07 percent compared to the previous month which reached 362.56 thousand tons.

The number of air transport passengers departing from the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung in August 2022 was recorded at 65.64 thousand people, a decrease of 17.60 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers who came to the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung using air transportation in August 2022 was 65.71 thousand people, a decrease of 41.87 percent compared to the previous month.
