Abstract

  • The number of guest visits to the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in August 2021 was 18,555 visits.
  • August 2021 inter-island sea transportation passengers; departing: 14.40 thousand people, arriving: 16.86 thousand people
  • August 2021 air freight passengers; departed 14.53 thousand people, arrived: 14.55 thousand people
  • The number of guests staying at star hotels in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in August 2021 was recorded at 18,555 people. This number decreased by 3.80 percent compared to the number of guests the previous month which reached 19,288 people. The number of domestic guests fell by 3.90 percent but the number of foreign guests increased more than three times.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in August 2021 reached an average of 15.83 percent, an increase of 0.08 points compared to the TPK in July 2021 which was recorded at 15.75 percent.
  • The highest ROR for star hotels by district/city in August 2021 was in Pangkalpinang City at 25.04 percent, followed by Central Bangka Regency (22.58 percent), Bangka (15.29 percent), and Belitung (9.13 percent).
  • In August 2021, the average length of stay of all guests at star hotels was 1.72 days, an increase of 0.17 days compared to the previous month.
