Bangka Belitung Islands Rice Harvest and Production Area in 2020 (Temporary Figures) of 20,451 Ha and 68,290 Tons of GKG

Abstract

The harvested area for rice in 2020 is estimated at 20,451 hectares, an increase of 3,364 hectares or 19.68 percent compared to 2019 which amounted to 17,088 hectares.
Rice production in 2020 is estimated at 68,290 tons of GKG, an increase of 19,484 tons or 39.92 percent compared to 2019 which amounted to 48,806 tons of GKG.
If the potential for rice production in 2020 is converted into rice for food consumption by the population, rice production in 2020 is estimated at 40,269 tons, an increase of 11,490 tons or 39.92 percent compared to 2019 which amounted to 28,780 tons.
