Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORTS
  • The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2020 was worth US $ 98.6 million, down 10.91 percent compared to the export value in September 2019.
  • Tin export value decreased 4.76 percent, and non-tin decreased 34.05 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the export value fell 18.98 percent. Tin exports fell 17.77 percent and non-tin exports fell 24.99 percent.
  • During January-September 2020, Singapore absorbed 20.46 percent (US $ 149.6 million) of tin exports, while China absorbed 21.52 percent (US $ 32.5 million) of non-tin exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-September 2020 dominated by US $ 112.9 million or 74.75 percent of the total non-imported exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
B. IMPORT DEVELOPMENT
  • The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2020 was US $ 0.97 million, down 44.39 percent compared to September 2019. Thus, imports from January to September 2020 were US $ 12.30 million.
  • As many as 83.07 percent of imports in January-September 2020 were non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports from January to September 2020 were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) amounting to 64.28 percent (US $ 6.57 million).
  • In January-September 2020, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 3.66 million (29.71 percent).
