First Quarter of 2019, 106.03 Consumer Tendency Index, Optimistic Consumers with Economic Conditions

Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of the Bangka Belitung Islands in Quarter I-2019 amounted to 106.03. This means that consumers are optimistic about the economic conditions in the first quarter of 2019 compared to quarter IV-2018.
Consumer optimism in Quarter I-2019 was influenced by three ITK forming variables, namely the Consumption Volume Index (116.84), the Current Income Index (100.41), and the Inflation Inflation Index on the consumption level (108.06).
The ITK value of the Bangka Belitung Islands in Quarter II-2019 is estimated at 132.73. Consumers tend to be optimistic about the economic conditions in the coming quarter.
The Upcoming Revenue Index is estimated at 150.93. Consumers are optimistic that their income in quarter II-2019 will be better than in quarter I-2019. In addition, consumers have plans to purchase durable, recreational or party / celebration goods with a Durable, Recreational and Party / Celebration Purchase Index value of 100.82.
