Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORT

The export value of Bangka Belitung Islands Province April 2018 is worth US $ 120.7 million, down 2.28 percent compared to export value of April 2017.
The value of tin exports fell by 20.43 percent, while non-denominated goods rose 135.17 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports decreased by 22.80 percent. Tin exports fell 20.73 percent, while nontimah declined by 27.66 percent.
Singapore absorbs 25.68 percent (US $ 103.2 million) of tin exports, while Bangladesh absorbs 24.80 percent (US $ 32.4 million) of total exports during January-April 2018.
The value of mineral fuel exports (HS 27) in January-April 2018 amounted to US $ 59.7 million or 45.74 percent of total exports of the province of Bangka Belitung Province.

B. IMPORT DEVELOPMENT

The import value of Bangka Belitung Islands Province April 2018 amounted to US $ 3.5 million, down 1.74 percent compared to April 2017. So, imports from January to April 2018 to US $ 42.9 million.
As many as 89.57 percent of imports from January to April 2018 in the form of oil and gas.
Non-oil imports from January to April 2018 were dominated by machinery / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 88.26 percent (US $ 3.9 million).
Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 38.9 million (90.76 percent).
