Abstract

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2018 was recorded at 41,495 people. This number increased by 6.79 percent compared with the previous month's number of guests which was 38,857 people. The number of foreign guests fell 19.61 percent while the number of domestic guests rose 7.29 percent.
Room Classification Rate (TPK) of a star classification hotel in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2018 reached an average of 45.95 percent, up by 3.24 points compared to the March 2018 TPK of 42.71 percent.
TPK of the highest rated hotels by regency / municipality in April 2018 is in Kabupaten Bangka Tengah of 60.60 percent, followed by Belitung regency (51.19 percent), Kota Pangkalpinang (35.96 percent), and Kabupaten Bangka (28.21 percent) .
In April 2018, the average length of stay of total guests in a star classification hotel lasted 1.85 days, an increase of 0.06 points compared to the previous month. During April 2018, the average length of stay of foreign guests (2.85 days) was 0.97 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.88 days).
