Economy Bangka Belitung second quarter of 2016 as measured by Gross
Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices (ADHB) reached Rp16.076 billion
and GDP at constant prices (ADHK) in 2010 the amount reached Rp11.875
billion.
Economic Bangka Belitung second quarter of 2016 compared to the first
quarter of 2016 (y-on-y) grew by 3.67 per cent increase when compared to
the first quarter of 2016 amounted to 3.32 percent. Meanwhile, when compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) grew by 2.65 per cent. Cumulatively (c-to-c) its economic growth reached 3.50 percent.
Both the production and expenditure, their moments of school holidays
and the preparation of the fasting month and Idul Fitri, increased
absorption of government expenditure such as the payment of the 13th
salary and allowance (salary 14th), began the passage of construction
and the
opening of new land and planting new seeds, increased inventory before
the fasting and Idul Fitri, the increase in exports abroad, especially
for tin and rubber in line with the increased production of ore / metal
tin and rubber causes the increased rate of growth than the previous
quarter. While the decline in consumer purchasing power and the impact of the
global economic downturn led to the annual and cumulative first half of
2016 the economy is slower than the quarterly and half of the previous
year.
Total GRDP ADHB Sumatera Island in the second quarter of 2016 reached
Rp687.292 billion or about 22.02 percent of total GDP 34 provinces in
Indonesia, while the GDP ADHK Sumatera Island in the second quarter of
2016 reached Rp506.831 billion with a growth of 2 , 12 percent (q-to-q), 4.49 percent (y-on-y), and 4.34 per cent (c-to-c). While
the GDP Bangka Belitung Islands contributed 2.34 percent to the GDP and
0.52 percent of the island of Sumatra to the total GDP 34 provinces in
Indonesia.
