Abstract

PROVISIONAL FIGURES 2015

Production of rice in 2015 (Preliminary figures) amounted to 27 068 tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), a rise of 3,587 tonnes of paddy (15.28 percent) compared to 2014.
The increase in rice production amounted to 3,587 tons (15.28 percent) in 2015 occurred in each subround namely subround Jan-Apr amounted to 1,234 tons (7.67 percent), subround the May-Aug amounted to 1,560 tons (28.92 percent) and subround September -des increased by 793 tonnes (39.85 percent) compared to the same subround previous year.
Maize production in 2015 (Preliminary figures) amounted to 663 tons of dry seed or a decrease of 58 tons (8.04 percent) compared to 2014.
Peanut production in 2015 (Preliminary figures) amounted to 144 tons of dry beans or a decrease of 80 tons (35.71 percent) compared to 2014.
