Abstract

Tanjungpandan City in May 2015 experienced inflation of 0.85 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 125.05.
Inflation in May 2015 due to an increase the price indicated by the increase in CPI in foodstuffs 2.13 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.52 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.55 percent; clothing group of 0.38 percent; and education, recreation and sport 0.35 percent. Meanwhile, transport, communications, and financial services experienced a 0.22 percent decline in prices. While health groups tend to be stable or unchanged index.
The inflation rate of the calendar year (January - May 2015) amounted to -1.40 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (May 2015 to May 2014) of 8.44 percent.
The group that contributes / contribute to inflation in May 2015, which is 0.60 percent foodstuffs; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.13 percent; clothing group of 0.03 percent; and education, recreation and sport 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, transport, communications, and financial services contribute / deflation of 0.03 percent. While health groups do not give a contribution / donation to inflation in May 2015.
