Quality Assurance Activities in LF SP2020 Data Collection

In the framework of the 2020 Population Census Long Form, BPS carries out various mitigations to ensure data quality which is one of a series of business processes in the LF SP2020 data collection, one of which is the Penjaminan Kualitas (PK) (Quality Assurance) activity. PK activities began with an entry meeting which was held on June 7, 2022, then PK data collection was carried out from June 8 to June 12, 2022 which was closed with an Exit Meeting on June 13, 2022. The PK officer for the Bangka Regency area was Mr. Rojani, SST, MM from BPS, Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

The areas for which PK data were collected were Merawang Village, Merawang District, Srimenanti Village, Sungailiat District, and Karya Makmur Village, Pemali District. This PK activity was carried out by revisiting the 4 sample households in each of the selected villages which had been completed by field officers to check the answers received by the PPL officers with the answers received by the PK officers directly from the respondents in the household. By doing this PK, it is hoped that the quality of the data generated in the LF SP2020 activity can describe the actual conditions in the field, so that it becomes the right reference for the government in determining future policies.
