Updating the Geospatial Framework and Loading Wilkerstat ST2023 2022

March 7, 2022 | BPS Activities

Hello #SahabatData

BPS-Statistics of Bangka Regency participated in updating the Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat ST2023 to prepare for the Agricultural Census (ST2023) activity in March 2022. The series of activities for updating the geospatial framework and contents of the ST2023 wilkerstat include updating the boundaries of the Local Environment Unit (SLS), family content who carry out activities agricultural economics, and geotagging of selected land cover areas. The selected officers are now applying the knowledge that has been given for 2 full days in 2 waves which will be held on 22-23 February 2022 (Wave 1) and 24-25 February 2022 (Wave 2).

Officers in the field in carrying out their duties also coordinate with village officials, local SLS leaders (RT Heads) and the community to obtain accurate updating information. Maps, worksheets, and cellphones are tools that officers always carry to make their job easier. The search for land cover samples is also a challenge for the officers because several sample points have their own characteristics.

Various obstacles, and of course a lot of experience gained by the officers in the field. Of course, this activity is still supervised by supervisors who have also been trained. Although the weather conditions are sometimes uncertain, the enthusiasm of the officers in the field is still full to make this activity a success. This updating activity is very useful and plays an important role in the success of the 2023 Agricultural Census and Other Survey activities, because the resulting map will be the basis for subsequent activities.

The spirit of the officers, your participation helps to #MencatatIndonesia.
