Bangka Regency BPS held a Focuss Group Discussion (FGD) on the Preparation of Bangka Regency Publications in Figures. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the SDI Bangka team, namely the data builder (BPS Kab. Bangka), walidata (DInkominfotik Kab. Bangka) and the Secretariat (Bappeda Kab. Bangka).
The FGD activity was opened by Expert Staff for Politics and Government of Bangka Regency, Mrs. Restunemi, who on that occasion emphasized the importance of maintaining data quality and preparing Bangka Regency for the measurement of the Statistical Development Index which will soon be carried out by Central BPS. On that occasion, Mrs. Restunemi also distributed certificates for 9 OPD and 6 villages/kelurahan which were the targets of sectoral development of the Bangka Regency BPS.
On that occasion, the Head of Bappeda Mr. Pan Budi and the Head of BPS Bangka Mrs. Dewi Savitri were the speakers who explained about One Indonesia/SDI Data and the introduction of the Statistical Development Index and moderated by the Head of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Boy Yandra.
Then no less important was the discussion of the Bangka in Figures Publication data, which was guided directly by the IPDS Function Coordinator, Mrs. Santy Fajaria, who verified the willingness of data from data producers to be released in publications. With the implementation of this activity, BPS hopes that it will serve as a statistical guidance medium for sectors to understand the importance of maintaining data quality for better development planning.
